可怜今夕月，向何处、去悠悠？
是别有人间，那边才见，光影东头？
是天外空汗漫，但长风浩浩送中秋？
飞镜无根谁系？嫦娥不嫁谁留？
谓经海底问无由，恍惚使人愁。
怕万里长鲸，纵横触破，玉殿琼楼。
虾蟆故堪浴水，问云何玉兔解沉浮？
若道都齐无恙，云何渐渐如钩？
A Ci-Poem (to the tune of Mu Lan Hua Man)

Ah, the moon tonight
Is veering away,
Where to, in the vast sky?
Is there another human world,
Where people can see its glow
On the east side?
Or is it the wind soughing in the infinite space
That is sending off the one, full and bright?
Who has tethered the mirror-like flying object?
And who has kept Chang’e, a legendary lady inside?
It swims through the sea without reasons, people say.
This seems to cause some disquiet
That the mighty whales would make a havoc to the palaces of jadite,
Wherein the Celestial Toad is no problem with water,
Yet how does the Jade Hare know to survive?
If everything went smoothly,
Then why does it grow like a hook by and by?
