雍陶《题情尽桥》英译

从来只有情难尽，
何事名为情尽桥。
自此改名为折柳，
任他离恨一条条。

An Inscription on the Bridge on Ending Friendship

That ever ends.
Why is it this bridge
Should be named “Friendship Ends”?
From now on its name
Should be changed to “Breaking Willows”
To signify parting sorrow
After sorrow.
