古庙依青嶂，
行宫枕碧流。
水声山色锁妆楼。
往事思悠悠。
云雨朝还暮，
烟花春复秋。
啼猿何必近孤舟。

Li Xun
The ancient temple rests on the grey cliff;
The imperial lodge leans over the blue river.
Water-sounds and mountain-hues envelop the fairy-boudoir;
The past arouses in me endless thoughts.
Clouds and rains frequent as usual mornings and evenings;
Mists and flowers recur in spring and autumns.
The monkey’s mournful cry need not hang about my lonely boat.
I the wanderer am already burdened with griefs.
