人生不满百。

戚戚少欢娱。

意欲奋六翮。

排雾陵紫虚。

虚蜕同松乔。

翻迹登鼎湖。

翱翔九天上。

骋辔远行游。

东观扶桑曜。

西临弱水流。

北极登玄渚。

南翔陟丹邱。 

A Fairy Tour

One hundred years we cannot live; 

Year in year out, we’ve no much mirth.

I wish I had six golden wings,

And through fog flew up to the worth.

Like Song and Qiao, I’d shed my shell

And up to The Tripod Lake climb.

I’d soar and soar across the sky,

And run my horse to a far clime.

East, see the sun rise up to glare, 

West, see weak water flow aground.

North, wade to the black shoal in waves,

 South, fly to alight on Red Mound.
