A K-Sake Sonnet

On this o'ercast eventide of mid-June,
for you I scribble lines as one keepsake
like cherries red to decorate your Cake,——
ah fledgling who has just outgrown cartoon.
I would that you weren't vexed by misty moon,
nor held back by the possible mistake;
I would that you saw less falsehood less fake,
and no tune of sentiments would you croon.
May the breeze bestow you feathery wing,
to rove the world like a bird, lofty a’free.
May you brave be, and to dreams tightly cling,
be steady, tough, and hard, as an oak tree.
Storms and winds your branch's may sway and swing,
yet year on year you be in bloom in spring.
Rhyme Scheme: ABBA, ABBA,CDCDCC, in iambic pentameter.

宁馨儿/诗
在这个六月中旬﹑天阴欲雨的黄昏，
为你匆匆写下这些诗行，作为纪念，
就像生日蛋糕上点缀的那些红樱桃…
你羽翼渐丰，不再像以往迷恋动漫。
但愿你不因为云雾遮月而伤神烦恼，
也不因为可能会犯错，就裹足不前;
但愿你不要看到过多的谎言和欺骗，
也不要将感伤的曲子一遍遍地咏叹。
愿微风为你插上轻盈的翅膀，
遨游世界，像鸟儿，自由，高翔。
愿你勇敢，永远不丢弃梦想，
像一棵栎树，坚定，有力，顽强。
暴雨狂风也许会摇动你的细枝，
但春回就花繁叶茂，年复一年。
馨注：英诗为“五音歨抑扬格”诗行，韵式：ABBA，ABBA，CDCDCC。上面这首汉语诗写得比较“自由”；感觉节奏和“顿”随意性强，琢磨起来也挺费神。读起来顺口就行。暂且这样吧。

六月黄昏天欲雨，漫拟此诗奉幼君
樱桃几点表心意，庆汝添岁稚趣移
愿君莫叹云遮月，大胆创思纵出错
愿君不受人欺蒙，莫让殇歌乱心胸
清风为君添羽翅，高翔寰宇得自由
怀揣梦想勇在心，坚如栎树有深根
疾风狂雨空摇枝，年年春回绿影深
