6.
和气致祥，喜神多瑞
疾风怒雨，禽鸟戚戚；霁日光风，草木欣欣。可见天地不可一日无和气，人心不可一日无喜神。
融洽致使祥和，欢快致使吉利
狂风暴雨中，飞禽忧心忡忡；风和日丽时，草木欣欣向荣。由此可见，天地不可以一天没有祥和的气氛，人心不可以一天没有欣喜的情绪。
【英译】
Harmony brings peace; joy brings luck
In storms, birds feel careworn; in sunny days, vegetation is flourishing. This shows that the universe cannot be short of a warm and peaceful atmosphere even for a single day and that a man cannot lack of a happy mood even for a single day.

淡中知真味，常里识英奇
醲肥辛甘非真味，真味只是淡；神奇卓异非至人，至人只是常。
清淡中知道真味，平凡中识别英雄
烈酒肥肉苦辣酸甜不算真味，真味只是清淡；神奇绝妙卓越优异不算完人，完人只是常人。
【英译】
Light diets prove real tastes; common things prove heroes.
Hard drink and fat, sour, sweet, bitter and hot, all these cannot be considered real tastes. A real taste is only a delicate one. Miraculous and ingenious, outstanding and excellent, all these cannot make a person perfect; a perfect person is only a common one.

闲时吃紧，忙里悠闲
天地寂然不动，而气机无息稍停；日月昼夜奔驰，而贞明万古不易；故君子闲时要有吃紧的心思，忙处要有悠闲的趣味。
闲暇时要做应急准备，忙碌时要有闲情逸致
天地寂静不动，但其生机时刻没有停止；日月轮换昼夜更迭，贞洁光明永恒不变。所以君子闲暇时要有应急准备，忙碌时要有闲情逸致。
【英译】
Be ready for tense days in carefree time, snatch a little leisure from a busy life
Though seeming silent and fixed, heaven and earth are full of vigor without any stop even for a single minute. The sun and the moon take turns and the day and the night alternate. Chasteness and luminosity keep invariable. So in carefree time, a gentle man should make emergency preparations while in busy time, he should have a leisurely and carefree mood.

静中观心，真妄毕见
夜深人静独坐观心，始觉妄穷而真独露，每于此中得大机趣；既觉真现而妄难逃，又于此中得大惭忸。
【释义】
静中体察心境，真假黑白分明
夜深人静时独自坐下来体察内心世界，起初发觉虚妄之心全然消失而真心流露，每当此时就能颇有乐趣；继而发觉虚妄之心难以摆脱，又会在此时倍感惭愧。
【英译】
Observe one's heart, true or false fully visualize
Sitting down alone at night when all is still, a man experiences and observes his inner world. At the beginning, he would find that unfounded things have completely vanished and sincerity has been revealed. Every time right now, he feels very happy. Yet afterwards, he would find it's hard to shake off the unfounded things, and therefore feel rather ashamed at this moment.
10.
得意须早回头，拂心莫便放手
恩里由来生害，故快意时须早回首；败后或反成功，故拂心处莫便放手。
【释义】
得意时要及早见好就收，不如意时不可停止奋斗
受宠往往招祸，所以春风得意时须及早见好就收；不过失败后或许反而能成功，因此不如意时，千万不可停止奋斗。
【英译】
Stop early when things go satisfactorily, not to stop when things go against wishes
Every so often, grace gaining causes disasters. Therefore, one should just leave well enough alone as soon as possible. But success would probably be brought about after failure. Therefore, one should not stop striving when things go against one wishes.
