英译学术论文摘要【二十三】

按：二十余年来，业余翻译或校对哲学、社会科学等人文学术期刊和师友论文摘要，至今已经译校不少篇什。它们或长或短，或深奥艰涩，或浅显易懂，却都是经过一番努力，数度推敲，几经润色定稿的。不过，最初几年的译校系手写，故均已散佚。1996年换笔改用电脑后虽然数次更换机器，多次重装或升级系统，其中偶然也有丢失，但绝大多数仍保存于硬盘。今特选择自认为比较忠实原文者，分批转帖，名之为《英译学术论文摘要》，以期方家哂正。下面是其二十三。——啮书轩主人启。

I.                  On the Group of Poets in Sutra-Expounding House

诂经精舍诗人群论

      The Sutra-Expounding House (Gujing Jingshe) was a local school set up by Ruan Yuan（1764 ～1849）for learning and expounding Buddhist sutras when he was in office in Zhejiang Province, where many famous scholars and outstanding intellectuals were gathered there. However, when it became one of the academic bases in the post-Emperor Jiaqing period, it at the same time was an important place for men of letters of West Zhejiang and East Zhejiang to meet one another in. Among them, were quite a number of poets whose reputation spread far and wide. From the fortieth year of the period of Emperor Qianlong to the whole period of Emperor Jiaqing, they wrote about the unique longings and aspirations of the scholar-officials of that particular historical period, displaying the profound imprints of their spirituality with different poetical forms. 

II.               Study on Strict Rhymes in Essentials in Rhyming (Chieh-Yun)  

to Be Used “together with” Similar Groups

Proposed by Xu Jingzong

许敬宗奏请《切韵》窄韵“合而用之”考辨

Xu Jingzong's proposal that strict rhyming of Essentials in Rhyming (Chieh Yun) be used “together with” similar groups in poetry is universally considered as one needed by the imperial examination in the middle of the 7th century. But this is not true. For, based upon historical data and studies on the actual use of rhymes in the poems of the Early Tang Dynasty, a conclusion shows that Xu’s aim is to provide a criterion for Emperor Tai’s royal society of poets. The same is true with the period of Emperor Tai instead of those of Emperor Gao and Empress Wu.

一、诂经精舍诗人群论



诂经精舍是阮元在浙江任上建立的一个地方性学校，汇聚了江浙一代诸多著名学者和优秀士子。精舍在成为嘉庆以后最重要的学术基地之一的同时，也是当时两浙文学活动的重要依托，其中不乏以诗名世之人，他们的创作从乾隆四十年延至嘉庆一朝，抒写出特定历史时期才人士子的独特心声，以不同形态展现了性灵思潮的深刻印记。

二、许敬宗奏请《切韵》窄韵“合而用之”考辨

许敬宗奏请《切韵》窄韵“合而用之”，一直被认为是出于科举考试规范用韵的需要。但史料比勘与初唐诗文用韵的统计分析表明：许敬宗对《切韵》的改革，并非为科举制定官韵，而是为宫廷诗歌创作提供用韵依据；其时间也可上推至唐太宗贞观年间，而不是通常认为的高宗、武后时期。
