按：二十余年来，业余翻译或校对哲学、社会科学等人文学术期刊和师友论文摘要，至今已经译校不少篇什。它们或长或短，或深奥艰涩，或浅显易懂，却都是经过一番努力，数度推敲，几经润色定稿的。不过，最初几年的译校系手写，故均已散佚。1996年换笔改用电脑后虽然数次更换机器，多次重装或升级系统，其中偶然也有丢失，但绝大多数仍保存于硬盘。今特选择自认为比较忠实原文者，分批转帖，名之为《英译学术论文摘要》，以期方家哂正。下面是其三十。——啮书轩主人启。

I.      Rethinking on the “Bipolar Appraisal” of Guo Moruo

郭沫若“两极评价”的再思考

During the last twenty years, a “bipolar appraisal” of Guo Moruo has presented itself in the academic circle of China. This is not only an important cultural phenomenon but also an important academic one. However, the academic circle has so far ignored to give it an in-depth thinking. The present paper argues that the “bipolar appraisal” phenomenon of Guo Moruo reflects certain scientific shortage of the research achievements, and this shortage is specifically embodied in the fact that subjectivity and one-sidedness has distorted the scientific standpoint in academic evaluation, that ignorance the uniqueness and complexity of the study object has affected the scientific attitude in academic evaluation, and that laceration the link between individual and history has done harm to a scientific evaluation. An appraisal of Guo Moruo needs both historicism and exploration of its contemporary value as well.

II.         Additions to and Corrections of Collected Eddays

郭沫若《<文艺论集>汇校本》补正

    Collected Essays on Literature and Art, Guo Moruo's earliest collection of essays, has all through been an important reference for Guo Moruo studies. Its revised edition published by Mr. Huang Chunhao, 1984, offers an excellent template in his studies for academia. However, due to its large number of omissions, and its quite few errors at that, it is not conducive to restore history in an intact way. The present paper, therefore, provides necessary additions to, and corrections of, the book through proofreading the different editions in the past.

《文艺论集》的成书与版本

    Collected Essays on Literature and Art is at once one of Guo Moro's important collections of literary essays, and one which, with so many different editions, is the most intricate and indiscernible to sort out as well. As a somewhat “unconventional” case study, it is selected, collected and compiled by Guo Moruo himself, it is therefore an unexpected process more or less like “an unintentional positive outcomes”.  At that time, he “was conjuring up” to construct his own system of literary theory, and was experiencing drastic changes both in his thoughts and his life. All this has naturally exerted impact on the evolution of its different editions, either textual or otherwise. And this is what needs to be concerned about and considered with in its edition studies. Meanwhile, it offers certain revelations in sorting out and examining the tricky and slippery problem of the large number of its “pirate editions”.

一、 郭沫若“两极评价”的再思考

近20年来，中国学界呈现出对郭沫若的“两极评价”。这既是一个重要的文化现象，也是非常重要的学术现象，但学界一直缺乏对这一现象的深入思考。郭沫若的“两极评价”现象反映出一些研究成果的科学性不足，具体表现为主观性和片面性影响了学术评价的科学立场；漠视研究对象的独特性与复杂性影响了学术评价的科学态度；割裂个体与历史的联系也影响了评价的科学性。对郭沫若的评价，既要贯彻历史主义，也要发掘其当代价值。

二、郭沫若《<文艺论集>汇校本》补正



作为郭沫若最早的论文集，《文艺论集》一直都是研究郭沫若的重要参考资料。1984年黄淳浩先生出版了《<</SPAN>文艺论集>汇校本》，为学界提供了一个很好的研究范本。但由于《<</SPAN>文艺论集>汇校本》的遗漏很多，并且有一些错误之处，不利于还原历史原貌，因此本文在重新校对了不同时期的《文艺论集》后，对其遗漏和错误作了补正。

三、《文艺论集》的成成书与版本

《文艺论集》是郭沫若一部重要的学术论文集，也是其著作中版本衍变最为繁复的一部著作集。《文艺论集》的编选成书，是郭沫若将自己文章、作品辑录成集的一个有些“另类”的个例，那差不多是一个“无心插柳”的过程。而此时，在“悬想”独自建立一个“文艺论”理论体系的郭沫若，正经历着思想和人生道路的剧烈变化。这些情况对《文艺论集》的版本衍变自然发生了影响，它们既有文本上的，亦有文本之外的。这是《文艺论集》版本研究需要关注和考察的内容。同时，这对于疏理考察郭沫若著译作品中大量存在的非常棘手的“盗版本”问题，也会提供某种启示。
