I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
--- Elizabeth Barrett Browning
我自由地爱你,就像男子为正义而奋斗;
我纯洁地爱你,就像他们在赞美前转头。

Quick Boom(Sonnet)
by Petite(Ning Hsin-erh)
How can one boom quick? Let me count the ways.
Unlearn the virtue, to a shameless height,
Keep love and loan and logic out of sight,
Mind not friend or foe, nor ideal nor disgrace.
Undo the pledges and plans of right, and day's
Sublime share (work and duty), by sun or lamplight,
Be jolly and snobbish, cease the strive for Right,
Shun not the pleasure of flesh, fish for Praise.
Unload the guilt of debt and sex (illegal use),
Quick normalizing rids one of old faith …
Desires and deficits in vogue now, nil to lose,
Investing & saving pent up— harm the breath,
To circulate, indulge deep as you choose,
A life lived for rare antidotes, ere death.

勃朗宁夫人 原诗:
A Sonnet from the Portuguese (No. 43)
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,—I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life!—and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
