The street-facing short towers up and down

半藏着、半挺着，立在街头，
Half hidden, half protruding, stand in the town.

瓦覆着它，窗开一条缝，

Covered with tiles, windows like cracks for a blast
夕阳染红它，如写下古远的梦。

Dyed red by the sunset, like a dream written by times past
