141. hang 是个常用的单词，几本意思是“挂，吊”。He is going to be hanged for treason. 他会因叛国罪被绞死。偶尔也有人用hung来代替hanged。甚至也有直接用hang,而不用be hanged：Robin Hood was going to hang for his crimes against the sherrif of Nottingham.罗宾汉犯有攻击诺庭镇警长的罪而判绞死。口语里hang有好几个意思：

a) Hey, wanna go hang with me and Paul? 喂，要跟我还有保罗一块逛逛吗？
b) My computer mysteriously hangs every day. 我的电脑每天会莫明其妙地死一次机。
c) 口语中加上in 或者on后，其意思是坚持。Hang in there, OK? 再在那里坚持一会。Everybody hanging on. 每个人都再坚持一下。Stay on.  也是“再坚持一会”。All relationships go through rough times. You just have to hang in there. 所有的（婚姻）关系都会经历难关，所以只要能你坚持下去就好了。Just hang on in there. The physical training is tough but it's worth it. 你一定要坚持下去，体育训练难度较大，但这代价是值得付的。
d) hang around 的意思是闲逛。你进商店，店老板会问：What can I do for you? 请问你需要什么？你则可以回答：I am just hanging around.我只是随便看看。Most husbands hate hanging around with their wives in the mall. It's so boring! 大部分的丈夫都不喜欢跟老婆去逛商场，太无聊了。I don't like to hang around here after dark. 天黑后我不喜欢在这里逛了。He had stupidly hung around — just to see what the cops were doing — and ended up being arrested!他在这里看热闹实在是笨，他不过是想看看警察在干什么，结果把自己给弄抓起来了。
e) hang up with 是约会的意思。He is hanging up now with Jane.他与简妮好上了。

142. That is a wishful thinking. 想得美！也可以说是day dream白日梦。You are day dreaming. 你真是白日做梦。He lives in a dream that has nothing to do with reality.他活在梦境里，完全与现实脱节。
