            诗也惆怅
            词也惆怅
            无语凝眸徒彷徨

            忽闻金谷丁香降

            韵也绵长
            律也绵长
            醉卧幽香赞玉娘

     A solitary night, she stares afar.

     So sad the poems are;

     So sad the lyrics are.

     Silently she peers, peering with a frown.
     Suddenly she smells, smelling lilac down.
     So long rhymes meander forth;

     So long rhythms meander forth.

     Lying drunk, she adds fragrance to her worth.
