口语里常用的几个意思：

d) double dip，同时发生：a double-dip recession, 双重衰退，指inflation 与 slow
growth同时发生。

在吃了一口后，第二次将食物去沾佐料。比如，你将饺子在公用的佐料里沾一下，吃一口，又去沾一下。这样，你口里的细菌、病毒很可能就会流入佐料去传给下一个人，所以，double-dipping是一种很不文明的行为，就如同随地吐痰一般。另外，双方都收费也是double
dipping，例如，房产中介公司，既收承租方，又收出租方；吃了原告吃被告，等。拿两份工资也是double

43. yukky 难吃，说这个词时还要做一个难吃的表情。Where did you get this food? It was yukky. 你从哪里弄了这吃的？那么难吃。看到不好吃的东西，也可以说：Gross! 难吃！恶心！
44. 与yukky相反的词是yummy，好吃极了。说这个词时，要不然就把音拖一下，要不然说它两次，表示你真的喜欢主人做的这道菜。
45. finger-licking good 味道好极了，licking是舔的意思，例如手抓羊肉，吃完后，再舔舔手，证明好吃。 It is finger-licking good. “味道好极了”的一般的说法是：delicious, tasty, tasteful, mouth-watering。
46. I can catch a whiff of popcorn, I crave it. 我能闻到玉米花的香味了，真馋人啊。
